Implementing the above direction, Petrovietnam, socio-political organizations and member units in the whole group have quickly organized fundraising and support activities. Petrovietnam is the first unit in the country to organize fundraising and support and has mobilized the largest amount of money in the state-owned enterprise sector. At the same time, Petrovietnam also committed to ensuring maximum supply and support of petroleum products to localities to ensure rescue, disaster relief, damage recovery, and early stabilization of life. In the near future, Petrovietnam will organize working groups to directly go to areas affected by storm No. 3 to visit, encourage and provide support to people severely affected by the storm.

Through a quick report on the implementation results of socio-political organizations and member units, comrade Le Manh Hung, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petrovietnam, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Group, commended and highly appreciated the spirit and responsibility of the collective leadership, cadres and all employees of the Oil and Gas Group and socio-political organizations in the Group who united, agreed, made donations and gave gifts, visited and encouraged in a timely manner to the local people and Oil and Gas employees who suffered losses due to storm No. 3. This demonstrates the responsibility, "the affection of the Oil and Gas people", the spirit of mutual love with the community.
At the same time, the Party Committee Standing Committee called on member units and mass organizations to continue updating the situation of damage and difficulties of the people and workers of the Oil and Gas sector in the affected provinces. On that basis, the Group, units and mass organizations continue to mobilize Oil and Gas workers to share difficulties with the people and colleagues as well as deploy working groups directly to the localities to share, provide timely support, join hands with the localities and people to overcome the consequences caused by the storm, and soon stabilize their lives.
Petrovietnam Deputy General Director Do Chi Thanh presented 2 billion VND in support to overcome the consequences of natural disasters to Yen Bai province.
It is known that on the morning of September 10, Petrovietnam launched a campaign to support people in localities affected by storm No. 3 to help people overcome the consequences caused by the storm. On the same day, many member units of the Group actively responded, organized and mobilized employees in the entire industry to participate in donating and supporting people. Immediately after launching, the Group's working group led by Deputy General Director Do Chi Thanh went directly to Yen Bai to visit, encourage and provide support to people affected by the storm.
At the same time, at the launching ceremony of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, responding to the call of the Party and State leaders, the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Petrovietnam General Director Le Ngoc Son, on behalf of the collective leadership, officers, employees and workers of the Group, donated 20 billion VND. This amount will be directly given by Petrovietnam to localities, promptly overcoming the consequences of storm No. 3, helping people quickly stabilize their lives.
Oil and Gas workers donate to support
Previously, on September 9, right after the storm passed, the Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union visited the scene and encouraged workers in Hai Phong, including VNPoly, PTSC, PVOIl, and PETROCONs. According to the report of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union, more than 300 Oil and Gas workers were affected and suffered losses, and the Vietnam Oil and Gas Trade Union decided to support each worker with the Union fund. Currently, according to the report, no unit has workers injured or affected in life.
President of Vietnam Petroleum Trade Union Nghiem Thuy Lan led a delegation to visit and encourage workers of VNPoly and PTSC Dinh Vu.
Youth Union members support transportation to the gathering point to bring necessities directly to people in flooded areas.
