On the afternoon of September 24, the Party Committee and the Navy Command organized an exchange of typical examples to welcome the 2019-2024 Navy Emulation Congress with the theme "Sea Flowers".

Also attending and directing the exchange were Vice Admiral Tran Thanh Nghiem, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Central Military Commission, Commander of the Navy; Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Bong, Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of the Navy, Chairman of the Emulation and Reward Council of the Navy; comrades in the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, heads of the Navy Command; representatives of heads of agencies and units under agencies and units and nearly 500 officers and soldiers participating.

Over the past 5 years, the emulation and reward work and the Emulation to Win movement of the Navy have been closely directed and comprehensively implemented by Party committees and commanders at all levels. The emulation movement has taken place widely, linking the patriotic emulation movement with movements and campaigns; it is truly a great driving force, encouraging and motivating officers and soldiers to strive to excellently complete all assigned tasks; the overall quality and combat strength of the Navy have been increasingly improved.

The Party organization is strong in politics, ideology, organization, ethics and cadres; the agencies and units are strong in all aspects, exemplary and typical; the mass organizations are strong and outstanding, leaving outstanding marks in all fields of work, becoming bright spots of the entire army, with many creative and effective models and methods.

In the 2019-2024 period, the Navy had 1,532 collectives and 2,864 individuals commended and rewarded at the Victory Emulation Congresses at all levels. The Navy was awarded 2 Fatherland Protection Medals (1 First Class, 1 Third Class) by the President, 1 collective was awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces and 1 collective was awarded the title of Labor Hero in the Renovation Period; 4,891 collectives and individuals were commended at the State and Ministry of National Defense levels. These achievements have further enhanced the glorious tradition of the Navy, contributing to preserving and promoting the image and good qualities of the heroic Vietnam People's Army.

At the meeting, delegates watched reports reflecting the outstanding achievements in performing tasks of typical collectives and individuals; met and talked with advanced examples associated with good models and creative ways of doing things; examples of the spirit of overcoming difficulties, being exemplary in performing assigned tasks and responsibilities...

Authorized by the Prime Minister, the Chief of the Navy Command awarded the Government's Emulation Flag to two collectives for their excellent and comprehensive completion of all aspects of work, leading the emulation movement to win of the entire army in 2023; awarded Certificates of Merit to three collectives and three individuals with outstanding achievements in performing tasks on the Truong Sa archipelago from 2021-2023, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.
