Nghe An organizes a series of activities in response to Book Day and Reading Culture

NDO - On the afternoon of April 18, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An province coordinated with the People's Committee of Vinh city and publishing and distribution units inside and outside the province to organize the launching ceremony of Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day and the Nghe An Province Reading Culture Ambassador Contest in 2025. This is an activity in response to the 4th Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An province Tran Thi My Hanh, on behalf of the Organizing Committee, called on all people, teachers, soldiers, youth union members, and all students to actively respond to Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day and the Nghe An Province Reading Culture Ambassador Contest in 2025.

Through its activities, Book and Reading Culture Day will contribute to encouraging and developing the reading movement, raising people's awareness of the great significance and importance of reading, and building reading habits in families, schools, agencies, organizations and communities.

At the same time, discover and honor organizations and individuals who have contributed to the development of books and reading culture in society.

Book and Reading Culture Day is an opportunity to spread the spirit of loving books, arousing a passion for reading in the community, especially the young generation.

Overview of the ceremony.

The program is not only a place for publishing units to connect with readers, but also an opportunity for the community to look back and promote the role of books and reading in personality development, expanding knowledge, and building a learning society.

The program takes place at the exhibition space on Ho Tung Mau walking street, from April 18 to 20.
