* 93 years have passed with many ups and downs, life in the former Soviet Nghe Tinh countryside has now changed and improved a lot. * On the morning of September 12, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation held a Conference to collect comments on the Draft Law on Management and Protection of National Defense Works and Military Zones; Law on Forces Participating in Protecting Security and Order at the Grassroots Level; and Law on Citizen Identification (amended).

* The policy for rotating cadres, especially those from the district to the grassroots level, is inadequate; each locality has a different approach. Based on the direction of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the Provincial People's Committee is directing the Department of Home Affairs to advise on developing a policy for rotating cadres to submit to the Provincial People's Council.

* Nghe An is one of the three provinces with the largest rice growing area among the 31 provinces and cities in the North. However, frankly speaking, the province has not really made any breakthroughs, creating great commodity value, commensurate with its potential and expectations.

* All of their land was flooded at the same time after Khe Bo Hydropower Plant stored water, but some households were compensated at a price of 6,000 VND/ ^m2 , while others were only compensated at half that price. That is the problem surrounding compensation for households affected by Khe Bo Hydropower Plant.

* On the morning of September 12, the People's Court of Nghe An province brought to trial the case of "Abusing position and power while performing official duties" against two defendants Lo Thi Minh Nhan (born 1982) and Lo Thi Soa (born 1990), both residing in Ta Ca commune, Ky Son district.
