On the morning of February 12, 2025, the 15th day of the first lunar month of the year of At Ty, at the Yen Tu relic and scenic area, the Quang Ninh Provincial Literature and Arts Association organized the 23rd Vietnam Poetry Day with the theme "The Fatherland flies up" with the participation of many Quang Ninh artists.
“Vietnam Poetry Day” is held on the 15th day of the first lunar month every year nationwide, commemorating the day Uncle Ho wrote the poem “Nguyen Tieu” on the 15th day of the first lunar month in the year of Mau Ty (1948). This is an occasion for poetry lovers nationwide to honor the achievements of Vietnamese poetry in the past and introduce contemporary poetry in the process of innovation and national construction.
The 23rd Vietnam Poetry Day took place in the context of the country solemnly celebrating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam and looking forward to the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday, the 50th anniversary of national reunification, and at the same time, this is also the time when the country is preparing to enter a new era, so the Vietnam Writers Association chose the theme "The Fatherland flies up", inspired by the verse "The Fatherland flies up in the immense spring" in the poem "Vietnam's posture" by poet and martyr Le Anh Xuan.
At the 23rd Vietnam Poetry Day program in 2025 organized by the Quang Ninh Provincial Literature and Arts Association, through ancient and modern works of art rich in cultural and historical values, Quang Ninh artists and writers hope to join artists and writers nationwide in continuing to write monumental works of art with the nation and people to welcome the new era - the era of national growth in the sacred land of Yen Tu - the pride of the people of Quang Ninh.
The highlight of this year’s Vietnam Poetry Day is the poetry-music program “Flying Fatherland” which includes the presentation of beautiful poems about the country by great poets of the nation such as Ho Chi Minh, Che Lan Vien, Nguyen Khoa Diem, and musical compositions by Vietnamese musicians praising the beautiful landscape and heroic Fatherland. In addition, there is an introduction of poems written about spring by members of the Quang Ninh Provincial Literature and Arts Association, and special songs written by Quang Ninh musicians about spring and festivals.
Through poems and musical melodies praising the homeland, Quang Ninh artists express their pride and determination to build Quang Ninh province to develop strongly in the new period, joining the whole country in entering a new era, the era of national growth.
