The fourth Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day in 2025 in the whole army

The fourth Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day in 2025 will be held throughout the army from March 24 to May 10, focusing on April 15 to May 7; with the message: "Reading culture - Connecting the community"; "Entering the era of national growth with books"; "Reading - enriching knowledge, nurturing aspirations, promoting innovation and creativity"; associated with the celebration of major holidays in 2025.

The document guides units to organize diverse and rich activities: Direct book fairs, online book fairs on technology platforms, direct book fairs combined with online; organize book clubs, launch models for replication: Office bookcases, guide reading skills; organize contests for Cultural Ambassadors of Reading, storytelling, following books, promoting and introducing books; discussions between cultural figures, scientists, writers, poets with officers and soldiers; organize exhibitions and book fairs in coordination with localities where troops are stationed; promote through billboards and posters about books... to create a vibrant atmosphere and have a high impact.

The Propaganda Department noted the need to promote the system of libraries, Ho Chi Minh rooms, and reading rooms of the unit; step up activities to organize the fourth Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day in 2025 throughout the army; focus on units with sufficient troops, training new soldiers, grassroots units; units stationed in remote areas, areas with difficult conditions, borders, and islands, creating a response and attracting a large number of officers and soldiers to participate widely and effectively.

The People's Army Publishing House and the Military Library provide professional guidance to publishing agencies and library systems throughout the army and coordinate with agencies and units to organize activities on Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day in conjunction with commemorating events of agencies and units with practical forms and contents.

Press and television agencies under the Central Military Commission - Ministry of National Defense and agencies and units shall promote extensive propaganda about the fourth Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day in 2025 throughout the army in many forms, open specialized pages and columns on books, reflect the activities of Book and Reading Culture Day; introduce typical models, organizations and individuals in developing a reading culture throughout the army.
