On August 27 and 28, the 11th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Quang Nam province took place.

Accordingly, the 11th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Quang Nam province will take place on August 27 and 28, 2024 at Hall No. 1 of the Provincial People's Committee Office. The first session opens at 2:00 p.m. on August 27; the second session opens at 7:00 a.m. on August 28. With the theme "Democracy - Solidarity - Innovation - Development", the congress will be attended by 500 delegates, including 300 official delegates.

The Congress has the task of summarizing the Action Program for the 2019-2024 term and unifying the Action Program of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Quang Nam province for the 2024-2029 term; consulting to elect the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province for the 11th term.

At the same time, discuss and contribute comments on the draft documents of the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (term 2024 - 2029) and amend and supplement the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; consult on electing a delegation to attend the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

The Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee hopes that press agencies will pay attention to propaganda before, during and after the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress. Focus on informing and propagating the results of the implementation of the Resolution of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress for the 2019-2024 term; emphasizing the implementation of the political and social functions of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Strongly promote activities to support the construction and repair of houses for poor and disadvantaged households; monitoring and social criticism activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; organize "direct dialogue" conferences between leaders of Party committees and authorities with people at the district level...

Speaking at the press briefing, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Phi Hung, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, acknowledged and thanked the news agencies and press inside and outside the province for accompanying and coordinating in implementing information and propaganda work on the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the past time.

Emphasizing that the 11th Provincial Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front is a broad and democratic political activity, a forum to express the will and aspirations of all classes of people in the province, Mr. Nguyen Phi Hung hopes that media and press agencies will widely disseminate the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front as well as the organization of the congress.

According to the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, up to now, the whole province has launched emulation and accepted 280 works and tasks to welcome the Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front delegates at all levels for the 2024 - 2029 term with a total cost of nearly 65.6 billion VND.

Of which, at the provincial level, there is 1 project with a total cost of 368 million VND; at the district level, there are 36 projects with a total cost of 30.3 billion VND; at the commune level, there are 243 projects with a total cost of 31.1 billion VND.
