Quang Ninh Propaganda Department: Deserving to "lead the way" in the Party's ideological work

In recent times, the Quang Ninh Propaganda Department has seriously and effectively implemented the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; at the same time, advised and assisted the Party Committee in Party building, building and protecting politics, ideology, revolutionary ethics from agencies, organizations, units and Party members in the province.

Movement to learn and follow Uncle Ho

With the task of carrying out the Party's ideological work, the Quang Ninh Propaganda Department has made important contributions to propaganda work, spreading the content of studying and following Uncle Ho in social life. Implementing Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW of the 13th Politburo on continuing to implement Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle, the Quang Ninh Propaganda Department has advised Party committees at all levels, organized research, study and dissemination of Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW and annual topics; widely propagandized among cadres, party members and people in many rich and diverse forms.

Every year, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department has advised the Provincial Party Committee to organize dozens of online conferences throughout the province to disseminate and implement the topics of studying and following Uncle Ho. Each online conference has 212 connecting points with over 19,000 cadres and party members in the province participating, creating a widespread influence to strongly change the awareness and actions of Party committees, authorities, sectors and all classes of people.

In recent years, the province has had many typical examples in all areas of social life, creating a great influence. Therefore, Quang Ninh is the first locality in the country to direct the study and follow of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style into an emulation movement. From 2021 to now, the whole province has 586 collectives and 515 individuals registering for provincial-level models with over 1,100 models of studying and following Uncle Ho. The typical collectives and individuals studying and following Uncle Ho have been constantly replicated, creating strength for Quang Ninh to overcome difficulties and challenges, creating breakthroughs on the development journey.

Along with that, the Quang Ninh Propaganda Department regularly advises on the inspection and supervision of the implementation of the Party's directives and resolutions, including the supervision of the implementation of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle according to Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW and Directive No. 05-CT/TW. In the first 6 months of 2024, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department has supervised the study and following of Uncle Ho at 12 branches and Party Committees in Cam Pha City; Ba Che District; Binh Lieu District; Than Quang Ninh Party Committee and 8 affiliated Party Committees; Propaganda Departments of districts, towns and cities; affiliated Party Committees have advised Party Committees and chaired the organization of 5 inspections and supervisions of Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW and Directive No. 05-CT/TW on studying and following Uncle Ho.

Along with inspection and supervision activities, propaganda work is regularly carried out by the staff of the Quang Ninh Propaganda Department at all levels from the province to the grassroots, while urging localities and units to continuously and synchronously deploy. The guidance on implementing the study and follow of Uncle Ho according to Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW is implemented in a concise, practical, easy-to-understand manner, selecting key issues with breakthroughs for implementation; increasing the application of propaganda through social networks, electronic information pages, propaganda through socio-political organizations, residential areas, and through cultural and artistic activities. It is from this factor that the study and follow of Uncle Ho has spread strongly, creating a deep impression on cadres, party members and people in the province.

Promoting the role of the Propaganda sector in the new situation

In recent years, the Quang Ninh Propaganda Department has focused on advising the Party Committee to issue plans to implement the Central's directives, resolutions, and regulations through plans and programs associated with specific political tasks of localities and units, such as: Plan to implement Directive No. 30-CT/TW dated February 5, 2024 of the Secretariat on oral propaganda work in the new situation; deploy and implement Resolution No. 17-NQ/TU dated October 30, 2023 of the Provincial Party Committee on building and promoting cultural values ​​and human strength of Quang Ninh to become an endogenous resource, a driving force for rapid and sustainable development; Action program to implement Resolution No. 42-NQ/TW dated November 24, 2023 of the 13th Party Central Committee on continuing to innovate and improve the quality of social policies, meeting the requirements of the cause of national construction and defense in the new period...

In which, the Propaganda Department focuses on directing and promoting the dissemination of the study and implementation of Resolution No. 20-NQ/TU dated November 27, 2023 of the Provincial Party Committee "on the direction and tasks in 2024", the province's working theme in 2024 "Improving the quality of economic growth; developing culture and people rich in Quang Ninh identity"; Resolution No. 17-NQ/TU dated October 30, 2023 of the Provincial Party Committee "on building and promoting cultural values, human strength of Quang Ninh to become an endogenous resource, a driving force for rapid and sustainable development" with many rich and diverse forms; directing agencies and units to visually propagate the province's working theme in 2024, the value system of Quang Ninh province, the value system of Quang Ninh people.

The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department has carried out inspection and supervision activities on the implementation of directives and resolutions of the Central Committee and the province for Party committees and affiliated Party organizations in the province on Party building and rectification work; and studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle. The Propaganda Department has advised the Party Committee to direct and summarize resolutions, directives and conclusions; at the same time, advised the Party Committee to issue documents to continue implementing Directive No. 23-CT/TW dated February 9, 2018 of the Secretariat on "Continuing to innovate, improve the quality and effectiveness of studying, researching, applying and developing Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh's ideology in the new situation".

Studying and following Uncle Ho's example, demonstrating the morality of "mutual love and support", the Quang Ninh Charity Group, chaired by teacher Bui Thi Hong (5th from right), presented 60 million VND in support to build a new house for Mr. Nguyen Van Binh's family in Lam Xa 3 village, Hong Thai Tay commune (Dong Trieu town) in June 2024.

In particular, at the end of May 2024, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department coordinated with Nguyen Van Cu Cadre Training School to co-organize a scientific workshop "Research and application of Resolution No. 17-NQ/TU of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee "on building and promoting cultural values, human strength of Quang Ninh to become endogenous resources, driving forces for rapid and sustainable development" into teaching. The workshop had 178 delegates attending: Representatives of departments, branches, Party committees, Propaganda Departments of localities, Quang Ninh Literature and Arts Association, representatives of Hai Duong Provincial Political School, Hai Phong city and cadres and students of Nguyen Van Cu Cadre Training School with 40 presentations.

Since the beginning of 2024, the Quang Ninh Propaganda Department has implemented the emulation movement "Youth for the Party". This is one of the key and outstanding tasks of the Quang Ninh Provincial Propaganda Department in 2024. The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department has chaired the launching ceremony of the emulation movement "Youth for the Party" for outstanding members, youth, students and students admitted to the Party in the period of 2024-2025, and organized the screening of the film "Peach, Pho and Piano". The launching ceremony was held at the Provincial Planning, Fair and Exhibition Palace on March 9, 2024 with over 900 attendees. Before, during and after the launching ceremony and film screening, public opinion highly appreciated the province's good, creative and very specific way of educating the revolutionary ideals for the young generation.

Along with that, the Quang Ninh Propaganda Department also always pays attention to training and developing the Party for the elite masses who are high school students. In the 2023-2024 school year, there will be about 100   Students admitted to the Party, the ratio of students admitted to the Party/number of students who attended the Party awareness training class reached 15.2%, 3 times higher than the previous school year.

The work of grasping and forecasting the ideological situation and political orientation, mood, and public opinion to handle complicated issues that arise: The Quang Ninh Propaganda Department focuses on grasping the ideological situation of cadres, party members, public opinion, issues that people are interested in and concerned about; promptly advising the Party Committee to direct the resolution and orientation of ideology, especially the work of grasping and orienting the ideology of cadres, party members, and people against false and untrue information on cyberspace. In the first 6 months of 2024, there were no hot spots or complicated incidents in the province. Cadres, party members, and people were assured, excited, and had absolute trust in the leadership of the Party and the administration of the government. In addition, the Quang Ninh Propaganda Department synchronously and effectively deployed propaganda work and public opinion orientation in the press, publishing, culture, arts, and foreign information. Quang Ninh Propaganda Department constantly innovates and improves the quality and effectiveness of staff work to become a "guide" on the Party's ideological front.
