The General Statistics Office, based on the Report on the implementation of Resolution No. 01/NQ-CP of the Government in the field of finance - State budget (NSNN) in July and 7 months sent by the Ministry of Finance on July 26, has just updated.
Accordingly, the state budget revenue in the first 7 months of this year is estimated to increase by 14.6% over the same period last year. State budget expenditure is estimated to increase by only 0.6% over the same period, ensuring the needs of socio-economic development, national defense, security, state management, payment of due debts as well as timely payment to subjects according to regulations.

Specifically, total state budget revenue in July is estimated at nearly 150,000 billion VND. Cumulative total state budget revenue in 7 months is estimated at 1.19 million billion VND, equal to 69.8% of the year's estimate and up 14.6% over the same period last year.
Of which, some main revenue items such as domestic revenue in July is estimated at 126,200 billion VND; accumulated revenue in 7 months is estimated at 995,000 billion VND, equal to 68.9% of the year's estimate and up 15.8% over the same period last year.
Revenue from crude oil in July is estimated at VND4,800 billion; accumulated revenue for 7 months is estimated at VND34,400 billion, equal to 74.7% of the yearly estimate and down 2.7% over the same period last year.
Budget revenue from import-export activities in July is estimated at VND18,800 billion and accumulated revenue for the first 7 months is estimated at VND158,500 billion, equal to 77.7% of the year's estimate and up 11.7% over the same period last year.
On the other hand, total state budget expenditure in July is estimated at VND152,600 billion. Accumulated in 7 months, total state budget expenditure is estimated at VND948,300 billion, equal to 44.7% of the yearly estimate and up 0.6% over the same period last year.
Of which, regular expenditure in the first 7 months of this year is estimated at VND652,500 billion, equal to 51.8% of the year's estimate and up 3.7% over the same period; development investment expenditure reached VND232,100 billion, equal to 34.3% of the estimate and down 8.4%; debt interest payment was VND63,200 billion, equal to 56.5% of the estimate and up 7.7% over the same period.
Thus, in July, the state budget balance had a deficit of VND2,600 billion. However, in the past 7 months, the state budget balance still had a surplus of VND239,800 billion.
