Loc Phat Bank Vietnam (LPBank) becomes the main sponsor of the LPBank Cup 2024 International Friendly Football Tournament

On August 19, 2024, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and Loc Phat Vietnam Bank ( LPBank ) held the Signing Ceremony and Announcement of the Main Sponsor of the LPBank Cup 2024 International Friendly Football Tournament. With the companionship of LPBank, the tournament has the participation of three national teams: Vietnam, Russia and Thailand; taking place from September 5 to September 10, 2024 at My Dinh National Stadium - Hanoi.

The LPBank Cup 2024 international friendly football tournament, held during FIFA Days in September 2024, is considered a football event that attracts the attention of a large number of fans and is of great significance to the Vietnam national team in its preparation for the 2024 Southeast Asian Football Championship, taking place at the end of the year. With the participation of two highly qualified guest teams, the Russian team (ranked 33rd in the world , on the FIFA rankings, having participated in the World Cup 11 times) and the Thai team (among the top in Southeast Asia), the tournament will be an opportunity for Vietnamese national team players to compete, improve their skills and tactics, and also create conditions for Vietnamese football fans to enjoy exciting competitions.

As planned, the matches of the LPBank Cup 2024 international football tournament will take place at My Dinh National Stadium at 8:00 p.m. on September 5, September 7 and September 10, 2024. To prepare for this tournament, the Vietnamese team with the best performing players selected by head coach Kim Sang Sik is expected to gather on August 30, 2024.
