On June 10, the Russian Defense Ministry stated that the unsuccessful counterattack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (VSU) on the southern Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia fronts had caused the VSU to suffer significant losses, including four German Leopard tanks, five American Bradley infantry fighting vehicles and many other military equipment destroyed.

Specifically, the Russian Defense Ministry said that in the past 24 hours, the VSU has made many attempts to attack in the above directions, but all were unsuccessful and the total losses of the VSU in these areas were 300 soldiers, 9 tanks, including 4 German Leopards, 11 infantry fighting vehicles, including 5 American Bradleys, 14 armored vehicles, 6 cars, as well as the French-made Cezar self-propelled artillery vehicle.

On the same day, Germany's NTV website and the Kiev Independent newspaper cited an investigative report by Belarusian journalist Anton Motolko saying that Russia received about 130,000 tons of ammunition in the first year of the special military campaign in Ukraine.

The report is based on an assessment of data from a railway union detailing the volume of military supplies exported from Belarus to Russia from January 2022 to February 2023.

Specifically, according to the investigation report, the Belarusian government has provided Russia with 131,582 tons of ammunition. On average, Belarus transfers over 10,000 tons of ammunition to Russia every month, a number 10 times higher than before the conflict.

In another development, on June 9, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that Moscow will begin deploying nuclear weapons to Belarus after facilities there are ready on July 7-8.

The timing of this deployment is considered very important, as preparations are being completed just ahead of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Summit, scheduled to take place in Lithuania.
