The Armata tanks actively participated in the operations of the military campaign, after which they were returned to the rear for further analysis and testing.

“During their stay in Ukraine, the southern group used several Armata tanks to evaluate their effectiveness on the battlefield,” the source confirmed.

According to another source, several Armata tanks have been delivered to units of the Southern Military District, although all necessary testing of the T-14 continues.

The T-14 Armata tank, manufactured by the Uralvagonzavod company, was first publicly introduced at the Victory Day parade on May 9, 2015.

* On the other side, the German government has provided a new military aid package to Ukraine to help the country cope with Russia's military campaign.

According to the updated list of military equipment delivered to Ukraine, the new military aid package includes 10 Leopard 1A5 tanks and 20 MG3 machine guns for Leopard 2 tanks, Marder infantry fighting vehicles and Dachs armored engineering vehicles.

In addition, Berlin also provided Kiev with 1,305 155 mm shells, 2,064 155 mm smoke shells, bridge systems and 12 trailers, 4 border protection vehicles, 10 ground surveillance radars, 16 Zetros trucks and 100,000 first aid kits.

Previously, last winter, the German government approved the decision to transfer 178 Leopard 1A5 tanks to Ukraine.

* Ukraine surprised by the number of Bradley vehicles destroyed on the battlefield. The Washington Post (WP) newspaper has published the number of Bradley M2A2 armored personnel carriers that the US provided to Ukraine that were destroyed on the battlefield.

Specifically, of the 190 Bradley M2A2 vehicles that the US sent to Ukraine, about 10 were completely destroyed, with the main cause being hitting mines.

WP's source also emphasized the significant advantages of using these armored vehicles in combat.

One of the main advantages of the Bradley is the high level of protection it provides for both the crew and the soldiers. Although some vehicles were destroyed, the occupants suffered only minor injuries. However, there were cases where Bradleys were blown to pieces when hit by anti-tank missiles.

According to WP, 12 Bradleys were completely destroyed and could not be recovered. About 20 were so badly damaged that they could not be repaired on the spot and had to be sent to neighboring countries for repair.

Poland is helping to restore badly damaged Bradleys for Ukraine. Some of the vehicles have returned to combat operations after repairs.

WP revealed that the heavy loss of Bradley came as a surprise to the Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as Kiev believed that this type of armored vehicle was capable of conducting combat operations even in case of damage.

In addition, the large number of Bradley crew members injured or killed when this vehicle crashed is also a big question mark.
