On July 10, speaking with VietNamNet reporter , Dr. Hoang Phuc Lam, Deputy Director of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, said that the main weather in the coming days in the capital Hanoi will be hot and sunny.
"Although the heat is not as severe as in the Central provinces, there will still be days when the highest temperature reaches 38 degrees," said Mr. Lam.
At the same time, according to Mr. Lam, the period from July 12-14 is the time when the temperature is likely to reach 38 degrees; at night it is not too high, commonly 28-29 degrees. With this night temperature, people will feel a little more comfortable than the days of last week, when there were nights when it reached 30-31 degrees.
Also according to Dr. Hoang Phuc Lam, in the further forecast, from around Sunday (July 16), the Northern provinces and the capital Hanoi may have widespread rain, with temperatures dropping significantly to 32-33 degrees.

In addition, according to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the coming days in the North will generally be hot, with some places experiencing severe heat with the highest temperature of about 35-37 degrees Celsius, and some places over 38 degrees Celsius.
However, in the late afternoon and at night, this area is still likely to have showers and thunderstorms in some places; from July 13 to 18, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, locally with moderate to heavy rain (concentrated in mountainous areas). From about July 15, the heat will gradually decrease.
The heat wave from Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien Hue continues to be extremely severe with the highest temperature of 36-39 degrees Celsius, and in some places over 39 degrees Celsius. From Da Nang to Binh Thuan, the heat wave is milder with the highest temperature of about 35-37 degrees Celsius. From July 16, the heat wave in the Central region will gradually decrease.
