From Phan Thiet City to the Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee Base Relic Site during the anti-American resistance war in Dong Giang Commune, Ham Thuan Bac District, about 65 km away, just getting off the bus, everyone in the tour group shared the peaceful feeling of a fresh morning on a weekend. According to the Relic Site Management Board, during the year, it welcomed 215 delegations with more than 17,000 visitors (reaching 171% of the target). In addition to students, trainees, and youth union members in the province, there are also travel companies from Ho Chi Minh City, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Binh Duong, Tay Ninh, Lam Dong provinces, etc.

Specifically, in 2024, the Relic Site will change, add images, display artifacts, and reinforce the display belt at the Memorial House - Exhibition Site. At the same time, collect 20 more artifacts of officers and soldiers of the Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee Office during the resistance war against the US. These are artifacts closely associated with the daily life and spirit of officers and soldiers on the battlefield, such as the Radio and Selko watch of comrade Le Ngoc Lien (Nghi Duc commune, Tanh Linh district), who was a guard of the Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee Office during the resistance war against the US, period 1961-1975; a hammock, a water bottle, a US mug and a stainless steel spoon of Ms. Huynh Thi Xuan Hanh, who worked at the Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee Office from 1968-1975; an American razor, which was the spoils of war that Mr. Le Van Lieu captured in the 1972 anti-sweep battle at Bien Lac Lake - Tanh Linh...

To meet the need for information and explanations of historical sites, the Management Board has researched documents, edited and written articles introducing the overall and specific content of the exhibition to create QR codes. Implement automatic explanations at the Exhibition House, shelters, camps of the Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Chief of Office, Hoang Cam kitchen, and conference hall at appropriate times. At the same time, create a Google Business address for the Provincial Party Committee Base and equip touch screens to display visual materials to serve visitors conveniently.
According to Mr. Vo Cap, the project to invest in a number of items serving the activities of the Management Board of the Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee Base during the resistance war against the US has been submitted to the Department of Planning and Investment and is seeking opinions from departments, branches and localities. In particular, it will invest in the construction of a new 1-phase medium voltage power line system, a transformer station from Dong Giang commune to the Relic Site and a number of auxiliary items, providing and installing equipment at the Relic Site such as mobile protective fences, guard houses, automatic explanation systems, surveillance cameras, electric shuttle buses, etc. with a total project investment of more than 27 billion VND, expected to be implemented in 2024 and 2025. When the project is completed, it will create favorable conditions for the Management Board to operate and for visitors to move and interact.
With the cultural and historical significance of the Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee Base Relic Site during the anti-American resistance war, the province and the Relic Site Management Board are continuing to promote, propagate, and invest in restoration with the hope that the Relic Site will become an attractive source of tourism for visitors from within and outside the province.
