
Mr. Pham Van Thuong - Deputy Head of the Department of Culture and Information of Nam Tra My district shared that Resolution No. 12, dated July 13, 2022 of the People's Council of Nam Tra My district has created more motivation for preserving indigenous culture.
The resolution aims at many goals, such as researching, restoring and preserving traditional festivals of ethnic minorities; restoring brocade weaving and weaving in communes.
All communes are supported with drums, gongs, costumes and jewelry to serve traditional cultural activities in the locality. All students of ethnic boarding schools, district high schools, and secondary and primary schools wear traditional costumes on special occasions...
For the preservation of intangible culture (gong teaching) of 3 ethnic minorities including Ca Dong, Xe Dang and Mo Nong, it has started since 2023. The classes are attended by members of village clubs, community groups..., taught by artisans of the district.
Mr. Nguyen Van Nhuong - Tak Chuom Gong Club (Tra Mai Commune) said: "We participate in the gong club, and when there is a festival, we participate in the performance. Previously, those who knew taught those who did not know, now the district opens a class to teach, which will be an opportunity for young people to understand more deeply about their ethnic culture."

According to Mr. Thuong, traditional culture can only be preserved and developed when regularly practiced in the community and in social life.
From supporting resources, we contribute to creating a living environment and practicing traditional rituals, ceremonies, costumes, and jewelry of ethnic minorities, preserving and building traditional craft villages associated with the lives and economies of households and communities...
From the resources invested in culture, Nam Tra My has done a lot in preserving and maintaining indigenous culture. Such as restoring the traditional festival of the Ca Dong, Xo Dang, and Mo Nong ethnic groups; organizing training courses to teach the intangible culture of ethnic minorities, and fostering professional skills for communal cultural officials and ethnic minority artisans.
Support communes in purchasing and supporting traditional costumes of 3 ethnic groups in the district. There are many tasks that are being and will be implemented in the coming time such as restoring and preserving costumes, jewelry, poles, and traditional village houses.
Support the restoration of brocade weaving and textile weaving villages in Tra Nam, Tra Linh, and Tra Cang communes. In addition, collect, preserve, and conserve costumes and jewelry with the unique cultural identity of each ethnic group...
