Vinh Phuc male student surprises with his understanding of artificial intelligence

At the recent 2023 Artificial Intelligence Award Ceremony, the first prize went to Nguyen Ngoc Duy, Vinh Phuc High School for the Gifted.

According to the Organizing Committee's assessment, Duy is always calm, confident and committed to difficult questions and topics of Artificial Intelligence.

The judges highly appreciated Duy's ability to think logically, in depth, and to structure his test. The answers Duy gave far exceeded the judges' expectations of a high school student.

Under the guidance of Mr. Phung Van Kiem, a Technology teacher at Vinh Phuc High School for the Gifted, Ngoc Duy was always calm, confident and committed to the difficult questions and topics of the Artificial Intelligence exam.

Entering the live final round, in front of a panel of international professors and experts from Harvard University, MIT University, and leading domestic experts, Ngoc Duy continued to confidently demonstrate his sharp thinking, presenting creative, unique, profound and solid ideas in every word.

It is known that before participating in the 2023 Artificial Intelligence competition, Duy had participated in a provincial-level Science and Technology project, so he had some practical experience for the competition.

Mr. Phung Van Kiem, Ngoc Duy's instructor, shared that he encountered many difficulties while participating in this contest.

According to Mr. Kiem, he lacked Vietnamese documents, experts to consult, experience, and the necessary experience. However, thanks to his efforts, both teacher and student achieved outstanding success.

The contest was launched and co-organized by VLAB Innovation, on a national scale, to honor outstanding and outstanding thinking and innovations, contributing effectively to the creation of a civilized and modern society.

The competition took place in three rounds, with content based on topics revolving around Artificial Intelligence. Over the course of 9 months, the competition received thousands of entries from 240 high schools in 63 provinces and cities across the country.
