8th grade boy seriously injured when phone exploded while charging

(NLDO) - An 8th grade student had to be hospitalized with serious injuries after his phone exploded while charging.

On January 2, speaking with a reporter from Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, a leader of Hoa Son commune, Do Luong district, Nghe An province, confirmed information that a phone had just exploded while charging, injuring a child.

Previously, according to initial information, at around 10:00 a.m. on January 1, when BDB (born in 2011, residing in Hiep Hoa hamlet, Hoa Son commune, Do Luong district) was charging his phone battery, the device suddenly exploded.

The explosion caused B. to be seriously injured, especially in his right hand and face.

The victim was then taken by his family to Do Luong District General Hospital for emergency treatment. At the hospital, doctors promptly treated the patient's initial injuries. However, due to the severity of his injuries, B. was transferred to a provincial hospital for further treatment.
