Ngoc Giang is a student at Ho Chi Minh City Open University, majoring in Marketing. "I used to study Information Technology but it was not suitable for me, so I switched to Marketing. This major helps me unleash my creativity, understand more about people, society and build my personal brand in the art field," he shared.

In the preliminary round, Ngoc Giang won over the judges with her sweet voice and inspirational story. Born and raised in the South but with Central Vietnamese blood, Ngoc Giang hopes that through the competition she can help people who are often affected by natural disasters and floods.

Sharing with VietNamNet about her strengths, Ngoc Giang said: "I have a friendly personality and can easily connect with people. With a spirit of eagerness to learn, I always improve my knowledge in many fields and am ready to face new challenges."

Ngoc Giang believes that education is an important foundation to shine and assert oneself. "Mr World Vietnam is not only looking for a man with good looks but also knowledge, courage and kindness. Ngoc Giang is the valedictorian of the university entrance exam in high school, second prize in Math in the city-level excellent student competition for the 2021-2022 school year, and top 20 in national costumes in the 2023 ASEAN Cultural Ambassador contest.

Revealing to VietNamNet, Ngoc Giang said that driving a motorbike taxi was a meaningful experience he had. "Four months of traveling around Ho Chi Minh City, meeting and talking with many people from different backgrounds has brought me valuable lessons. This job helps me believe in myself, be grateful for life and have a thirst for learning and constantly improving," he shared.

Ngoc Giang is happy because his family supports him at Mr World Vietnam. "My parents always taught me that no matter how difficult it is, I should never drop out of school. There was a time when my family had to borrow money for me to study for the excellent student and university entrance exams. Seeing my parents' sacrifice, I just try my best to study well so as not to disappoint everyone's expectations and trust," he said.

His role model is MC Khanh Vy. Ngoc Giang shared: "Her discipline and dynamic, youthful spirit are an endless source of inspiration for me. Throughout high school, her videos about skill training, English, travel... gave me more motivation to study and develop myself."

Recalling the crisis period when he had an accident that caused his nose to become severely crooked, he shared: "A friend played dirty while playing soccer and injured me. Even after surgery, my nose was still not the same as before. At that time, I was self-conscious and did not dare to look in the mirror," he shared.
