Trieu Gia Dat - a marketing student at Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance (UEF) - surprised everyone when he transformed into Spiderman at his recent university graduation ceremony.
The character Spiderman is closely associated with many young people as a superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics and recreated in many animated films.

Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, the male student expressed that creating the Spiderman image is a way to send thanks to his family, teachers, friends, society... - those who contributed to creating a "super hero Trieu Gia Dat".
The boy from Da Lat, Lam Dong decided to transform into Spiderman because among the superhero characters, Spiderman is the most well-known image.
"I thank the people around me for helping me succeed as I am today. Dare to bring a mask to the stage to receive my diploma is also an affirmation of myself with the desire to become a useful person for society, helping others with my intelligence and ability," Trieu Gia Dat shared.

Trieu Gia Dat's video of receiving his university diploma also caused a stir in the online community right after it was shared. Besides opinions supporting the youth's freedom to be creative, there were also comments expressing confusion. Gia Dat said that this is normal because every difference will receive diverse opinions from the community.
"I study and work in the field of marketing communications, so I am used to coming up with new ideas and not afraid of the reactions of some public opinions. I have no regrets about creating a bachelor's degree like that. This is a new joy, a new journey on my next journey," the former UEF student expressed.

Before graduating, Trieu Gia Dat already had a job in his major and planned to continue his studies. Having a job early, according to Gia Dat, was the result of working part-time jobs related to his major since his first year of university.
In addition to Gia Dat, the recent graduation ceremony of the University of Economics and Finance in Ho Chi Minh City also recorded many creative and unique moments of new graduates when receiving their diplomas.
On stage, some friends were supported by their relatives to carry a series of awards and certificates. Others brought confetti, special souvenirs or were brought up by the whole "dance troupe" to receive their certificates amid enthusiastic cheers from their friends.

Highlights of the graduation ceremony also noted many new graduates with high academic and training results, both in terms of cumulative course scores and foreign language achievements.
Among them, student Huynh Vo Nhat Linh, valedictorian of the international business major, graduated with the highest grade point average (GPA) of 3.98/4.0, TOEIC 875. Many other students also graduated as valedictorians and were able to receive awards from the school with their relatives.

MSc. Le Dung, Head of Training Department, said that in this graduation session, more than 30% of students achieved good and excellent grades, 100% of students achieved English standards equivalent to IELTS 5.5. Students with high achievements in international English certification exams from IELTS 7.0, TOEIC 850 or higher reached 10.6%.
According to statistics from the school's Center for Enterprise Cooperation, by the time of graduation, more than 60% of students had jobs before receiving their diplomas. Many students were retained by businesses after completing their internships.
