Kinhtedothi - Promoting the role of the Trade Union in participating in the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus, ensuring the rights of union members and workers - especially the regime and policies for those who retire early, quit their jobs and assign tasks with lower positions.
The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) has just issued a document requesting that trade unions at all levels participate in implementing the Party's policies and resolutions on innovation and reorganization of the political system.
Accordingly, in Official Dispatch No. 2882/TLĐ-TG sent to the provincial and municipal Confederations of Labor; Central and equivalent sectoral Trade Unions; Trade Unions of Corporations under the General Confederation of Labor; Offices, departments and units under the General Confederation of Labor, the General Confederation of Labor stated: implementing Conclusion No. 106-KL/TW dated December 13, 2024 of the Politburo on the implementation of the summary of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW dated October 25, 2017 of the 12th Party Central Committee on "A number of issues on continuing to innovate and reorganize the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined, effective and efficient" and related documents, the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor requested that trade unions at all levels propagate and mobilize cadres, union members and workers to actively respond to and strictly implement the innovation and reorganization of the apparatus of the political system.
In particular, closely following Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW and the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and the General Confederation's guidance in implementing innovation and reorganizing the apparatus of the political system to ensure streamlining, effective and efficient operations to proactively advise competent authorities on the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus, and the arrangement of cadres in trade union agencies and units to ensure streamlining, efficiency, effectiveness and efficiency; promoting the role of the Trade Union in participating in the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus, ensuring the rights of union members and workers - especially the regime and policies for those who retire early, quit their jobs and assign tasks with lower positions.
Along with that, promote propaganda activities on policies, purposes, requirements, and tasks of streamlining the political system's apparatus in the new situation. Strengthen the grasp of the thoughts and aspirations of cadres, civil servants, public employees, union members, and workers to regularly report and reflect to the Party Committee, leaders of agencies and units to have appropriate handling plans.
Do a good job of political and ideological education, raise awareness and responsibility to create high consensus among cadres, civil servants, public employees, union members and workers about the urgency and necessity of implementing innovation, restructuring the organization and apparatus, streamlining the payroll to serve the requirements of developing the Trade Union organization and the country in the new era - the era of national growth.
Proactively advise the Party Committee on union staff so that after implementing the arrangement and streamlining, there must be a team of cadres, civil servants and public employees in the union system who are truly qualified, have the qualities and abilities to match the tasks; ensure that the union apparatus at all levels operates continuously and effectively.
Where the Trade Union has an authority or professional agency that is subject to termination of operations, consolidation, dissolution or merger, it is necessary to proactively prepare documents and files and promptly settle the trade union's finances to serve the handover and perform normal tasks as soon as the apparatus is reorganized.
