In 2025, Thang Binh strives to have 1-2 4-star OCOP products

Accordingly, Thang Binh district will support the development/upgrading of recognized products; striving to have at least 80% of products registered to participate in the OCOP Program achieving 3-star or higher by 2025, of which 1-2 products will achieve 4-star rating.

The district supports the consolidation, upgrading/establishment of at least 3 new economic organizations (small and medium enterprises, cooperatives) participating in OCOP. All registered participants commit to producing products in accordance with regulations on food safety, packaging, labels, and packaging that are upgraded to ensure regulations; applying advanced quality management systems in the production, circulation, and traceability of products.

In addition, it also supports the development of a point of sale and consumption of products with a joint contract to consume products (in addition to local OCOP products, connecting OCOP products of other localities in the province, including outside the province).

Strive for products that are recognized as 3-star OCOP or higher after 1 year to increase revenue and profit by at least 1.5 times compared to the time when the product had not participated in OCOP.

Up to now, Thang Binh district has 32 products recognized as meeting OCOP standards, including 3 4-star products and 29 3-star products.
