My Linh, Thu Minh and a series of international Jazz stars will do this in Nha Trang in April 2024

The 1st International Jazz Festival - Nha Trang 2024 will take place from April 27 to May 1 in Nha Trang City ( Khanh Hoa ). The event will have the participation of nearly 200 domestic and foreign artists such as the US, Singapore, and Korea. The program will take place over 5 nights with different themes such as: The opening program will take place on the evening of April 27 with the theme The spotlight of Jazz ; Living the Legend (April 28); The Latin Night (evening of April 29); The Collection (April 30); Closing program with Jazz Flows (May 1).

Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong said that the 1st International Jazz Festival - Nha Trang 2024 with the desire to bring a very special and unique musical experience, is a bridge of cultural exchange between countries through the vibrant musical language of Jazz.

According to Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong, on the regional music map, Vietnam is considered to have strengths in Jazz music. Vietnam has Jazz bands and Jazz artists of international standards. Many tourists and heads of state coming to Vietnam desire and seek out Jazz clubs and performances to enjoy.

"Through the program, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Khanh Hoa province hope to introduce to the audience the beautiful melodies of Jazz, promote Vietnamese music as well as create opportunities for exchange, learning and discussion between Vietnamese and international artists, contributing to bringing Vietnamese audiences closer to domestic and international Jazz music.

In addition, the Organizing Committee also hopes that this international music party will contribute to promoting and introducing more about the lands, natural beauty, culture, and people of Vietnam to international friends, creating new tourism products, attracting tourists to Khanh Hoa, contributing to the overall economic development goal of Khanh Hoa province", Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong affirmed.

The 1st International Jazz Festival will feature nearly 200 artists.

According to musician Hoang Anh Minh, Music Director of the Festival, the attraction and challenge for the Festival Organizing Committee is the selection of performances according to themes. However, this will make the quality of the program reach international standards. In addition, the investment in sound quality and stage lighting is also carefully invested by the Organizing Committee with the strictest standards.

In addition, the Organizing Committee is currently working to invite many famous Jazz artists and bands from the US, Singapore, and Korea to Vietnam to participate in the program. On the Vietnamese side, there will be the participation of bands and artists such as: the band of artist Tran Manh Tuan, singers My Linh, Thu Minh, Phuong Vy... It is expected that there will be more than 100 Vietnamese and international artists and bands coming to the international Jazz program.

Information from the Organizing Committee also revealed that the event will take place on an outdoor stage including a main stage and a small stage. The main stage will be located at 2/4 Square, Tran Phu Street, Nha Trang City and the small stage will be opened at Thanh Nien Football Field, Tran Phu Street, Vinh Nguyen Ward, Nha Trang City.

Not only does it aim to win over the general public, but it also aims to satisfy the professionals with a fresh combination of domestic and international artists. A variety of music genres from Classic, Bossa Nova to Jazz Funk, World Music... The audience will experience the most classy and diverse music festival ever in the coastal city of Nha Trang.

Mr. Nguyen Van Nhuan, Director of Khanh Hoa Department of Culture and Sports, said that with the participation of leading artists from all over the world, the 1st International Jazz Festival - Nha Trang 2024 will bring a variety of performances. Visitors will be immersed in the vibrant melodies and colorful cultural space of the coastal area called Nha Trang. On this occasion, the province also organized many cultural and tourism promotion activities to attract visitors to the beautiful land of Khanh Hoa.

The International Jazz Festival is also considered a potential to become an annual activity, attracting domestic and foreign tourists to Nha Trang - a cultural and musical destination.
