According to the US Department of Commerce, the above entities provided Russian companies involved in the defense sector with integrated circuits of US origin.
The Chinese Embassy in the US has not yet responded to requests for comment on the above information.
The ministry will also add a total of seven more entities from Finland, Germany, India, Türkiye, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the United Kingdom to the export control list.
Accordingly, US exporters are required to have special licenses to be able to ship goods to customers on the export control list.
The microelectronic circuits that help guide missiles and drones to their targets are of major concern to the United States.
