On May 21, at the G7 Summit, many member countries expressed their support and announced military aid packages for Ukraine.

During a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on the sidelines of the G7 Summit, US President Joe Biden announced a new military aid package for Ukraine and affirmed that Washington is doing everything possible to strengthen Kiev's defense capabilities.
According to Mr. Biden, this new military aid package will include ammunition, artillery and armored vehicles.
Similarly, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau also announced that his country will support Ukraine long-term and as much as possible in the conflict with Russia.
At the same time, Mr. Trudeau made it clear that Canada will continue to train Ukrainian soldiers as it has done since 2015.
Prime Minister Trudeau made the remarks at a press conference in the Japanese city of Hiroshima as G7 members concluded a three-day summit.
For his part, Japanese host Prime Minister Kishida Fumio said it was important that the G7 demonstrated unity in its intention to maintain international law and order at the Summit, which the Ukrainian President attended as a guest.
Mr. Kishida made the statement at a press conference as this year's G7 President at the end of the three-day summit in Hiroshima city.
Meanwhile, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak also announced that London will train Ukrainian pilots this summer to support Kiev's air force.
