During the 2-month period, the trainees were given detailed instructions by agricultural extension officers on techniques for selecting tea varieties suitable for the soil and climate of the highlands. The trainees were instructed on how to set up a tea nursery, planting season and density, how to plant new plants, replant, care for, fertilize, create canopy for tea plants, prevent and control pests and diseases in tea; how to harvest and preserve tea, and how to compost organic fertilizer for tea plants.

In particular, students are also guided by agricultural extension officers on organic tea growing techniques to develop sustainable tea plants. Theory is combined with practice, students are "held by the hand" instead of using the presentation method, creating a more vibrant classroom atmosphere.

At the end of the training course, 35 trainees were granted tea growing certificates to return home and apply the knowledge they had learned to practical production. The propagandists actively shared their knowledge and experience with neighboring households and villagers to follow suit, helping each other to sustainably eliminate hunger and reduce poverty, and join hands in building a new countryside.
