Surrounded by Ngoc Le mountain range, beside Dak Bla stream flowing all year round, Kon Tu Rang rice field in Kon Tum captivates tourists with its poetic beauty.
Kon Tu Rang terraced fields are one of the most beautiful tourist destinations in Kon Tu Rang village district, located in Mang Canh commune, Mang Den town, Kon Tum province. About 10km from the town center, Kon Tu Rang has a wild, peaceful beauty, completely opposite to the noisy city. I myself am a tour guide, I have come here many times but every time is like the first time, there is a peaceful feeling that I am sure cannot be found anywhere else". Photo: Le Ngoc Minh “Standing from the suspension bridge watching people working in the fields, standing behind the rice storage area watching Ngoc Le mountain range or watching Dak Bla stream, you will see the tranquility and peace that people in the bustling city often desire” – Anh Minh shared. Previously, people's houses were mainly made of wood, bamboo and cogon grass - flammable materials. People were afraid that in case of a fire, their food would also be burned, so they developed this unique habit. Photo: Le Ngoc Minh Despite its picturesque landscape, Kon Tu Rang has not really attracted many tourists due to its geographical location. To get to the fields, visitors have to walk because the road is quite steep and has sharp turns. For older visitors, this is certainly not an ideal place to visit and travel. Photo: Le Ngoc Minh Currently, Kon Tu Rang does not have any accommodation services in the village. If you want to stay here, you can consider staying at the 37-household area right in Mang Den town. However, the travel distance is quite far and there are many inconveniences related to eating and living. Photo: Le Ngoc Minh In addition to admiring the golden rice fields, visitors here can visit many nearby tourist attractions such as Mang Den grass hill, coffee shops with views of Ngoc Le mountain range or Pa Sy waterfall - a place known as the muse of Mang Den. Although not an ideal tourist destination for families, Kon Tu Rang is definitely a good choice for young people who love to explore wild, peaceful nature and want to temporarily escape the hustle and bustle of the city.
