TPO - Heavy rain in the late afternoon in Binh Duong damaged several structures, felled trees, and swept one person away.
On the evening of June 14, authorities in Binh Duong province were working with local people to overcome the consequences of heavy rain.
Earlier in the late afternoon of the same day, heavy rain in Binh Duong province caused severe damage to some structures and trees along the roadside to fall.
Thunderstorms caused the Hung Loi Residential Market in Uyen Hung Ward (Tan Uyen City) to collapse. The incident caused traders and residents to flee in panic, injuring one person.
Currently, the authorities have blocked off the area where the incident occurred to fix the problem.
Also in Uyen Hung Ward (Tan Uyen City), a man riding a motorbike through a residential area was swept away by water into a sewer. When the incident was discovered, people shouted to each other to save the victim but were unsuccessful, so they reported it to the authorities.
Tan Uyen City Police leaders said that authorities are actively searching for the victim.
Previously, Tien Phong reported that in Di An City and Thuan An City (Binh Duong), there was hail in the late afternoon of the same day. People said this was the first time they saw hail in the area.
