Grasping the thoughts and aspirations, fully collecting opinions and recommendations of voters and people to reflect and make recommendations to the Party and the State is an important task that the Fatherland Front at all levels of Hoang Hoa district has effectively carried out in recent times. Many opinions and recommendations of voters and people have been considered, responded to or resolved by competent authorities in accordance with the provisions of law.
Head of the District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairwoman of the Hoang Hoa District Fatherland Front Committee Trinh Thi Que said: With the role of a bridge between the Party, the State and the People, every year the Standing Committee of the District Fatherland Front Committee regularly disseminates and issues documents directing and guiding the Fatherland Fronts of communes and towns on grasping and gathering opinions and recommendations of voters and people. The Fatherland Fronts at all levels in the district also coordinate with the authorities to effectively carry out activities of meeting voters with National Assembly deputies, provincial People's Council deputies, district People's Council deputies and synthesizing voters' opinions and recommendations to reflect to Party committees and authorities at all levels. In particular, the opinions and recommendations of voters are synthesized and reflected by the Fatherland Front from district to commune to competent authorities for response and resolution, ensuring compliance with procedures and regulations. In addition, the Fatherland Fronts at all levels in the district also increase cadres to go to the locality to grasp the ideological situation of voters and people, and grasp information directly from the people; grasp through the team of cadres and prestigious people in the community...
Along with collecting and reflecting the opinions and recommendations of voters and people, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the district also strengthens the supervision of the response to voters' opinions and recommendations by competent agencies. In particular, for recommendations that are slow to be resolved or responded to, the Fatherland Front of the district coordinates with the Standing Committee of the district People's Council to continue to request the government or coordinate with relevant agencies to resolve them, ensuring the rights of voters and people. Thanks to that, voters' recommendations and practical issues arising at the grassroots level have been resolved more quickly. This result has contributed to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of State management as well as protecting the legitimate rights and interests of citizens, promoting socio-economic development, maintaining political security and social order and safety in the locality.
For example, voters of Hoang Yen commune requested the district to consult Thanh Hoa Electricity Trading Joint Stock Company to soon supplement and replace the degraded infrastructure system of electric poles and wires, ensuring safety and quality. In response to voters' opinions, Hoang Hoa District People's Committee coordinated with the Department of Industry and Trade to inspect the electrical system and electricity quality; at the same time, requested the electricity business management unit to overcome existing problems such as: Building two new transformer stations to improve electricity quality; the company put 0.4kV electric poles and weak power lines into the upgrade and renovation roadmap. Voters of Hoang Hai commune reported that 35 households in Thanh Xuan village agreed with the State's policy on site clearance for project implementation, requesting the district to arrange land funds for resettlement of households when they relocate. In response to voters' opinions, the People's Committee of Hoang Hoa district assigned the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to preside over and coordinate with the People's Committee of Hoang Hai commune to review the content of the request of 35 households according to voters' opinions. Based on the review results, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of the district developed a resettlement plan for eligible households in accordance with the provisions of law...
Promoting the achieved results, the Fatherland Front of Hoang Hoa district continues to focus on improving the quality of voter contact work and proactively grasping and reflecting the situation of the people in all fields, clearly pointing out negative phenomena and newly arising concerns among the people... From there, promptly reflecting to the Party Committee, the authorities at the same level and the leaders at higher levels to take measures to propagate, mobilize, as well as protect the legitimate rights and interests of the people. Promoting the application of technology in grasping, gathering, reflecting the opinions of the people, participating in management activities, monitoring the results of handling opinions and recommendations of voters and the people... is also more focused.
