Thu Dau Mot Water Joint Stock Company (stock code TDM) has just sent a document to the State Securities Commission and Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange regarding the approval of signing a contract to buy and sell rooftop solar power.

Accordingly, the resolution dated January 13 of the Board of Directors of Thu Dau Mot Water Joint Stock Company agreed to purchase rooftop solar power from the solar power project of Biwase Construction - Electricity Joint Stock Company (BIWELCO). BIWELCO originated from the Mechanical and Electrical Technology Construction Branch under Binh Duong Water - Environment Joint Stock Company (BIWASE). This company has been investing in the field of renewable energy such as: Solar power, waste-to-energy.

According to the Resolution, Thu Dau Mot Water Company will purchase rooftop solar power from BIWELCO at a purchase price of VND1,102/kWh during off-peak hours; VND1,696/kWh during normal hours; and VND3,144/kWh during peak hours.

The above price does not include value added tax (VAT). VAT is applied according to regulations at the time of invoice issuance.

This price is applicable until Binh Duong Power Company changes the price.

Implementation period within 20 years from January 1, 2025.
