From March 26-28, the 5th Logistics Trade Promotion, Conference and Exhibition “LOGIX INDIA” will take place in Mumbai, India.

The program is organized by the Federation of Indian Export Organizations (FIEO), under the aegis of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India.

LOGIX INDIA 2024 focuses on exchanging and discussing the improvement of logistics cost efficiency in India and invites international companies to cooperate in developing global logistics transportation centers, building warehouses, sea, road and air freight forwarding solutions...

With India’s total import and export of goods and services reaching around $1,600 billion per year and growing at an average annual rate of around 6.5%, the Indian logistics sector is undergoing a major transformation. As global trade increases, all major logistics companies are looking for opportunities to partner and grow their business in India.

The Indian government plans to invest $1.5 trillion in infrastructure development, improving connectivity at airports, ports, roads and railways. Major investments will also be made in AI, IoT and big data to transform the supply chain and logistics industry. India continues to emphasize the need for regulatory reforms in the logistics sector to reduce barriers to trade in goods and services.

Further, to promote ease of doing business and improve the ease of doing business index, India has introduced the National Logistics Policy (NLP). This policy aims to reduce logistics costs from the current 13-14% to a level comparable to other developed countries. This will increase the competitiveness of products in both the domestic and international markets of India. Logistics is the backbone of international trade, and cooperation in developing logistics is not only good for import and export activities but also helps domestic manufacturing and domestic trade.

The organizing committee will consider funding for Vietnamese businesses that meet the criteria of the Organizing Committee, with priority given to businesses that register before March 11, 2024.
