Sharing with PV of Dan Viet newspaper, Associate Professor, Dr. Le Trung Thanh, Principal of the University of Economics, Vietnam National University, Hanoi said: “Up to now, we often see cooperation models between domestic universities and international schools. However, this cooperation will be more effective if we have a clear orientation on the learning path, career development path and future of students. That means this choice requires careful preparation from high school. Therefore, we develop a cooperation model with foreign schools and with domestic high schools.
Accordingly, high schools will have many activities and methods of implementation such as inviting foreign experts to teach students or inviting students to participate in extracurricular programs, student exchanges between countries and career counseling as well as opening up opportunities to study in prestigious countries around the world. High school principals are very supportive of this model.

The signing ceremony is a groundbreaking initiative to strengthen the connection between New Zealand education and hospitality businesses with universities and colleges in Vietnam. The event not only marks an important step forward in the bilateral relationship but also opens up opportunities for education experts, hospitality professionals, students and strategic partners to connect.
Associate Professor Thanh added: “We are implementing the internationalization of domestic training programs, which means that the programs are ranked and meet international standards, and the on-site study abroad model is awarded by foreign partners for students who want to study in an international environment but at a reasonable cost and with practical connections. Thus, students still have international experiences but are not surprised when they return, while the quality of training will be much improved.”
The signing ceremony was witnessed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of New Zealand to Vietnam and the Deputy Ambassador of New Zealand to Vietnam. It has special significance as it takes place ahead of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic and trade relations between New Zealand and Vietnam in 2025.
