On the night of February 8 and February 9, the lowest temperature in the Northeast and Thanh Hoa is 11-14 degrees Celsius, in mountainous areas 8-11 degrees Celsius, in some places below 5 degrees Celsius; Hoa Binh, Lao Cai, Yen Bai 11-13 degrees Celsius; Nghe An, Ha Tinh 14-17 degrees Celsius.

The cold weather in the Northeast is likely to last until around February 9.

From February 9, Quang Tri to Binh Dinh will have scattered showers, localized heavy rain and thunderstorms. Thunderstorms may include tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

At sea, in the Gulf of Tonkin and the North East Sea, the northeast wind will gradually increase to level 6, gusting to level 7-8, with waves 2-3m high and rough seas.
