Despite his busy work schedule, Thanh Bach accepted to appear in the show Ngoc Lan in me. “She has a voice that is “fragile and smoky” but her ability to convey emotions is extremely strong. Ngoc Lan has left us 22 years ago. With this music night, those who love Ngoc Lan will have the opportunity to relive those emotions,” he shared.
Singer Diep Ngoc Huong - the host of the music night - said that she idolized Ngoc Lan, so when the time came, she decided to hold a program to pay tribute to the late singer. "I always believe that the love songs of famous singer Ngoc Lan, although old, are not out of date, and both the old and the young love them. Therefore, through the concert, I hope to contribute to spreading these love songs to the younger generation," she shared.
Diep Ngoc Huong is considered a "copy" of Ngoc Lan.
According to Diep Ngoc Huong, although she is working abroad, she is still supported and followed by many Vietnamese audiences. That is a great encouragement and support for the female singer in her artistic journey. The music night will take place on December 16 at VOH Music One Theater (HCMC).
Diep Ngoc Huong was born in 1980 in Phan Thiet. In Vietnam, Diep Ngoc Huong had a period of professional artistic activities. In 2016, she moved to the US to settle down with her foreign husband. In a foreign land, she continued to pursue her passion for singing with lyrical songs.
