Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB) supports a preferential loan package of up to 2,000 billion VND with a lending interest rate reduced by up to 1% for individual customers and business households with a variety of purposes to rebuild their lives after storms and floods.

Specifically, MB reduces lending interest rates by up to 1% per year compared to current rates for personal customer loans with a variety of lending purposes: Construction and repair of houses, interior decoration, repair of production and business facilities, loans for working capital for production and business, consumer loans for life.

Faced with the severe damage caused by storm Yagi and the widespread flooding and flash floods that caused great damage to people and businesses in the Eastern and Northwestern provinces, MB also urgently established working groups to go to the field, visit and encourage customers, estimate the affected outstanding debt, debt repayment ability... to have timely support solutions for customers in some areas heavily damaged by storms and floods in the Eastern and Northwestern regions such as: Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Nam Dinh, Hai Duong, Hanoi, Dien Bien... to support customers in repairing their houses, restoring and stabilizing business operations.

In addition, MB also launched a special preferential loan package of up to VND 2,000 billion with a loan interest rate reduced by up to 1% per year for customers who need to borrow capital from now until December 31, 2024 to create conditions for people to access good capital sources to rebuild their lives after storms and floods for many purposes such as: repairing houses, purchasing furniture, repairing business establishments and providing additional capital to stabilize production, consumer loans to stabilize life. At the same time, the bank also supports a variety of credit forms such as loans, overdrafts, guarantees, credit cards... to help people flexibly use capital according to their needs.

In addition, MB also said that it will not only reduce and offer preferential interest rates but also continue to develop support policies on principal and interest grace periods for loans. At the same time, MB Insurance Company is also urgently carrying out support and compensation procedures for customers, ensuring timeliness.

MB representative said that this preferential loan interest program demonstrates the bank's timely support for individual customers and business households during difficult times. In addition, with the spirit of mutual love, recently, MB donated 2 billion VND to support people affected by storm No. 3 (Yagi) through the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, 1 billion VND to the Fatherland Front of Cao Bang province, 500 million VND to the People's Committee of Dien Bien province... Also within the framework of the campaign "MB contributes a day's work", MB's grassroots trade union launched and called on all employees of the entire bank to continue to participate in fundraising through the Charity platform (thiennguyen.app) with the desire to contribute and accompany people.
