(PLVN) - Flights to Da Nang have increased, tickets to watch fireworks on cruise ships and hotel rooms have been sold out before the final night of DIFF 2024.
Tonight, July 13, the final night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2024 will take place with a showdown between China and Finland. Up to this point, the number of flights to Da Nang has recorded a 30-40% increase compared to normal days and a 23% increase compared to the 4th fireworks night.

At Da Nang International Airport alone, the total number of flights arriving in Da Nang from July 11 to 13 is estimated at 455. The number of flights arriving here reflects the heat of the final night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2024.
Not only airlines increased flights, but the room occupancy rate in Da Nang also reached the "ceiling" level.
According to statistics from Mustgo (an online booking platform with more than 250 hotel partners in Da Nang), room occupancy in the city near fireworks reached approximately 100% very early.
Up to now, most hotels about 4km from the shooting location are also very short of rooms. A representative of a hotel about 4.5km from the DIFF stage said that the rooms were fully booked 2 days before the final night.

Statistics from the Da Nang Department of Tourism show that in the previous 4 nights of DIFF alone, the total number of guests served by accommodation establishments reached 268,592 (an increase of 11.9% over the same period of DIFF 2023).
Citywide room occupancy reached 70-77% on event nights thanks to increased frequency and capacity of flights to Da Nang during the peak summer tourist season.
Not only hotel rooms, fireworks viewing activities on cruise ships also become more exciting during the nights of DIFF. In the 4th competition night and the final competition night, the cruise ship capacity is expected to reach 100%, serving 2,439 guests.
A representative of the DIFF 2024 Organizing Committee said that 10,000 tickets for the final night were distributed to the market and a total of 50,000 tickets for the 5 competition nights.
This year, the total number of DIFF tickets nearly doubled compared to last year, but the stands were all filled, especially the tickets for the final night were sold out 3 weeks ago, which shows the increasing attraction of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival.
