In the 2024 - 2029 term, the Fatherland Front of Tho Dien commune (Vu Quang, Ha Tinh) continues to affirm the role and position of the front organization, contributing to the implementation of political tasks in the locality.
On the morning of February 29, the Tho Dien Commune Fatherland Front Committee held its 2nd Congress of Delegates for the 2024-2029 term. This is the unit chosen by the Vu Quang District Fatherland Front Committee to organize the model congress. Tho Dien commune was merged from Son Tho and Huong Dien communes from January 1, 2020. The whole commune currently has 1,010 households with 3,279 people; living in 11 residential areas. The commune Fatherland Front has 11 front work committees in residential areas and affiliated member organizations.
During the past term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Tho Dien commune has done a good job of propaganda and mobilization, gathering cadres, union members, association members and people to well implement the Party's guidelines, directives and resolutions and the State's laws and policies.
Effectively deploy patriotic emulation movements, campaigns "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", campaigns "Day for the poor", "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" and emulation movements launched by all levels and sectors.

Through the above activities, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations of Tho Dien commune have promoted their role in building the great national unity bloc, contributing to the overall socio-economic development results. The average income per capita of Tho Dien commune is increasing, reaching 51.03 million VND/person/year in 2023; the poverty rate is currently 4.29%, the near-poor rate is 4.50%. The number of cultural households in 2023 is 916 (reaching 96%); 11/11 residential areas (100%) have achieved the cultural title.

At the congress, delegates also focused on discussing and contributing many enthusiastic ideas to improve the effectiveness of the Front's work; affirming the role and position of the Front organization, contributing to the implementation of political tasks in the locality.
