Mountainous District Front mobilizes nearly 3 billion VND to eliminate temporary houses

The conference was chaired by Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Le Tri Thanh, along with leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Tien Phuoc and Tay Giang districts.

In the first 6 months of the year, districts in the mountainous emulation cluster have coordinated and promoted propaganda and mobilized people of all walks of life to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and celebrate important political events of the country and homeland with many forms and rich content.

Regarding mobilization work, up to now, 5/9 districts have paid the Fund for the Poor to meet the assigned target; built and accepted 124 solidarity houses for poor and near-poor households.

Responding to the emulation movement "Eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses", localities in the emulation cluster organized a launching ceremony to raise funds, calling for mobilization from agencies, units, and people of all walks of life with a total amount of nearly 3 billion VND.

In addition, the mountainous emulation cluster also organized many legal propaganda and education campaigns in residential areas and schools, gradually raising legal awareness among people and students.

In 6 months, the mountainous cluster has received 16 petitions/cases, resolved 11/15 petitions/cases, reaching a rate of 73.33% within its jurisdiction. Currently, 9 mountainous districts have 428 grassroots mediation teams with 2,158 mediators, the mediation teams have accepted and successfully mediated 153/200 cases, reaching a rate of 77%...

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Le Tri Thanh acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of the mountainous localities. In the coming time, the Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee requested that localities do a good job of social criticism; build a great national unity bloc, especially in border districts adjacent to Laos; preserve and conserve the cultural identity of ethnic minorities in mountainous districts, protect natural landscapes, especially forest management and protection...
