Billionaire Elon Musk's social network X threatens to shut down in Brazil

According to the owner of social network X, Judge Alexandre de Moraes has threatened to arrest the company's legal representative in Brazil for not complying with a "secret" order to remove some accounts.

X said the order required compliance within 24 hours or face fines and jail time. The company also announced that, to protect its employees, it had decided to shut down its operations in Brazil immediately, although the platform remains accessible in Brazil.

Billionaire Musk criticized Judge Moraes on X. Judge De Moraes has led a recent campaign against online misinformation in Brazil.
