Entering a dealership to sell more than 200kg of stolen green coffee, Ngo Van Bang, residing in Thuan Hanh commune, Dak Song district, Dak Nong province, a subject with a criminal record, was surprised when he was arrested.
On November 8, the police of Thuan Ha commune, Dak Song district, Dak Nong province, said that the unit had just handed over the subject Ngo Van Bang (born in 1990), residing in Thuan Hanh commune, Dak Song district, along with evidence of 211kg of fresh coffee beans to the Criminal Police Department of Dak Song district to continue investigating and clarifying the act of property theft.
Stealing coffee to sell, Ngo Van Bang was caught thanks to the cleverness of the agricultural product purchasing agent.
According to initial information, at around 1:30 p.m. on November 6, Bang drove his motorbike to village 8, Thuan Ha commune, Dak Song district and discovered that a local coffee plantation was far from the residential area and had no one watching it, so Bang stole 4 bags of fresh coffee beans with a total weight of 211 kg.
Then, Bang transported the above amount of coffee to Van Linh Agricultural Products Purchasing Agent in Dak Thot village, Thuan Ha commune.
However, the owner of the agricultural product purchasing agency noticed that the coffee was still green and suspected that it was stolen property, so he reported the incident to the Thuan Ha Commune Police.
Stealing coffee to sell, Ngo Van Bang was arrested for an unexpected reason.
Upon receiving the report, Thuan Ha Commune Police quickly arrived at Van Linh Agricultural Products Purchasing Agency to verify and clarify the matter and invited Ngo Van Bang to the Commune Police headquarters for questioning.
Initially, Ngo Van Bang admitted to stealing 211kg of fresh coffee to sell for money.
It is known that Ngo Van Bang is a drug addict, has 2 previous convictions for gambling and illegal possession of drugs.
