Con Temple in Quynh Phuong Ward (Hoang Mai Town, Nghe An Province) is known as the most sacred temple in Nghe An. On March 1, on the main day of the Con Temple festival in 2024, tens of thousands of people and tourists from all over the country flocked here to participate in the fish praying ceremony, the rite ceremony, the anointing ceremony, the great rite ceremony and watch the traditional boat race.

23 young women from 15 to 18 years old wore traditional ao dai, holding wooden knives and swords throughout the ceremony.
The most special thing at the fishing festival at Con Temple festival is the "flying palanquin procession". Strong village men are selected to carry the palanquin on their shoulders. They run and shout with great enthusiasm.
Every time it stops, the village boys toss the palanquin high in the air. The palanquin is tossed high in the air by the village boys as if it were flying, amid the cheers of tens of thousands of locals and tourists. This is also the part of the festival that many people look forward to.
