(Dan Tri) - Man City made history in the Champions League with a 5-0 victory over Sparta Prague in the third match that took place in the early morning of October 24 (Vietnam time).
Man City had no trouble against reigning Czech champions Sparta Prague at the Etihad Stadium. Phil Foden gave Pep Guardiola's side the lead in the third minute, before four second-half goals sealed a convincing win.

Erling Haaland scored a brace, while John Stones and Matheus Nunes' late penalty also got on the scoresheet.
The win means Man City have gone 26 games unbeaten in the Champions League, the longest unbeaten run in the competition's history, breaking the previous record of 25 games unbeaten held by Man Utd from 2007 to 2009.
Man City's current record in the Champions League dates back to the 2022-23 season, when Pep Guardiola's side convincingly won the title.
Although Man City only reached the quarter-finals last season due to being eliminated after two draws with Real Madrid leading to defeats in penalty shootouts, The Citizens are still technically unbeaten as penalties do not count.
With their current form, the Etihad team is fully capable of extending their unbeaten streak, so fans will have to wait a long time to see another team break this record.
As for striker Erling Haaland, the Norwegian striker has now scored 44 goals in the Champions League after just 42 matches, one more than star duo Neymar and Robert Lewandowski. He is also only one goal away from the top 15 scorers in the C1 Cup and Champions League.
