Man City plans to buy Florian Wirtz to replace Kevin de Bruyne
The race to sign young star Florian Wirtz is very exciting among English football representatives and Man City is not out of the race.
German press revealed that Man City representatives initially contacted Bayer Leverkusen to negotiate a transfer in the summer of 2024.
At the age of 20, Florian Wirtz is one of the most important players helping Leverkusen top the Bundesliga table with an unbeaten record (6 consecutive wins; 10 matches if counting on all fronts).
Florian Wirtz is often deployed by Xabi Alonso as an attacking midfielder, or as a second striker. Coach Pep Guardiola wants him as a successor to Kevin de Bruyne.
Man City are not afraid to negotiate with a transfer fee of 85 million Euros (about 74 million Pounds, at current exchange rates), in the context that Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal are also very interested in Florian Wirtz.

MU needs quality goalkeeper
Spanish media outlets say the negotiation process for a reunion between MU and goalkeeper David de Gea is hotter than ever.
For the past few weeks, the British press has been constantly talking about the possibility of De Gea returning to Old Trafford, not long after the two sides failed to find common ground on the contract extension.
MU need a quality goalkeeper as Andre Onana's form has been inconsistent, despite his recent record of excellent saves, including penalty saves.
Furthermore, Onana has returned to the Cameroon team, so he will be absent for the first part of 2024 to participate in the African Football Championship (CAN 2023; from January 13 to February 11, in Ivory Coast).
On November 7, MU posted a message congratulating De Gea on his 33rd birthday on social media. This further strengthens the possibility that the Spanish goalkeeper will once again wear the "Red Devils" shirt.

Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund interested in Raphael Varane
MU is reportedly ready to sell Raphael Varane to Saudi Arabia in the winter transfer window (January 2024) to bring in a new central defender.
Along with Lisandro Martinez, Raphael Varane is the number one central defender pair of coach Erik ten Hag in the MU squad. However, everything has changed completely this season due to the impact of injuries.
While Martinez is out for a long time, Varane is also constantly having physical problems. Recently, there have been reports of disagreements between him and coach Erik ten Hag, as well as the former Real Madrid midfielder being unhappy with the Dutch coach for leaving him out of the MU 0-3 Man City derby.
According to Caughtoffside , MU is ready to let Raphael Varane leave in January 2024 if they receive a suitable offer.
The 30-year-old centre-back has attracted interest from the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund and they are willing to spend big to bring him to join one of the four clubs they own: Al Ahli, Al Hilal, Al Nassr and Al Ittihad.
Raphael Varane himself is said to have expressed his desire to explore a new challenge. Or more precisely, the central defender is looking for a way out of the chaos at MU.
There is information that Varane wants to reunite with Ronaldo at Al Nassr in the Middle Eastern country.
MU aims to bring in a new central defender in the winter transfer window. According to the above source, the Red Devils have identified a number of names such as Goncalo Inacio, Antonio Silva, Edmond Tapsoba and Marc Guehi but leading the list is Nice defender Jan-Clair Todibo.
This becomes even more urgent in case Lisandro Martinez does not recover before New Year's Day.
