Man City will try to lure Toni Kroos to the Etihad Stadium next summer, with an offer to double his salary after his contract at Real Madrid expires in the summer of 2024.
Guardiola is keen on signing Toni Kroos. |
The reigning Champions League champions are ready to offer a 2-year contract (with an option for an additional 12 months), with a salary of 13 million pounds/season to convince Toni Kroos to join Etihad.
According to Defensa Central, Pep Guardiola is a big fan of Kroos and is determined to bring him back to fill the void left by Gundogan.
The German star's contract with the Royal team will end in June 2024. If he moves to Manchester, Kroos' salary will double.
At the age of 33, Toni Kroos has had 9 successful years at Bernabeu, winning 4 Champions League titles, 3 La Liga titles and 5 FIFA Club World Cups.
At one point, Kroos expressed his desire to retire at Los Blancos. However, he is facing an irresistible offer.
Last year, the German star turned down lucrative offers from clubs in Saudi Arabia and the US professional league to sign a one-year contract extension with Real Madrid.
The chance to work with Pep Guardiola and a lucrative salary will motivate Toni Kroos to join Man City. Last summer, the blue team spent a lot of money to add 4 quality new players: Josko Gvardiol, Matheus Nunes, Jeremy Doku and Mateo Kovacic.
