(NLDO) - Mai Nguyen Anh also won the "Most Favorite Singer" award at the Hanoi Voice 2024 contest.

With a powerful, strong and attractive baritone voice, Mai Nguyen Anh shone at the final night of the contest "Hanoi's Voice 2024" (held on the evening of November 28 at the Hanoi Opera House).

Not only did he impress with his wide vocal range and expressive singing style, but he also demonstrated his confidence when performing on stage. As a result, the male singer won the "Most Favorite Singer" award and the runner-up position in the competition.

The contest "Hanoi Voice 2024" is organized by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, with media sponsorship from Tuoi Tre Thu Do Newspaper and broadcast live on VTV2 channel.

Participating in the final night, the contestants performed with the band, in three genres: chamber music, folk music and pop music.

Audiences enjoyed a diverse musical feast, from deep, soulful melodies to vibrant, energetic songs.

In particular, the appearance of famous guest artists such as Meritorious Artist Thanh Lam, Meritorious Artist Dang Duong and singer Tung Duong added to the appeal of the program.

Mai Nguyen Anh's performance was especially attractive.

Mai Nguyen Anh, with an impressive performance of the song "Thuy Than" - a work by Bui Hoang Nam Duc Anh, conquered both the audience and the judges with her soulful voice and confident demeanor.

The audience could not forget the emotional high notes he brought to the show. Mai Nguyen Anh also received the award: "Most Favorite Singer".

In addition to the individual awards, the contest also recognized many other secondary awards such as the "Best Song About Hanoi" award for Luu Thi Phuong Thao, the "Most Favorite Contestant of the Judges" award for Duong Ngoc Anh, and especially the "Most Favorite Contestant of the Audience" award for Mai Nguyen Anh.

Mai Nguyen Anh is the son of Meritorious Artist Huong Giang.

Mai Nguyen Anh, born in 1999, comes from a family with an artistic tradition. Since childhood, he has followed his mother, Meritorious Artist Huong Giang, to participate in many artistic activities. Later, he studied vocal music at the Military University of Culture and Arts and is currently working at the Military Region 2 Art Troupe.

"The Voice of Hanoi 2024" is not only a playground for young talents to shine but also a bridge to arouse love for the homeland and country, while contributing to improving the cultural and spiritual life of the people of the capital.

At the end of the competition, two first prizes were awarded to Bui Huyen Trang (chamber music) and Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh (pop music). In addition, three second prizes were awarded to Mai Nguyen Anh (pop music), Dinh Xuan Dat and Phan Trung Kien (chamber music), along with five third prizes to other contestants.
