On the afternoon of October 11 at the Government Office, Madame Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Nga attended and delivered a speech at the meeting with representatives of Vietnamese entrepreneurs organized by the Government Standing Committee on the occasion of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Day (October 13), chaired by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.

In her role as Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Private Entrepreneurs Association and Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Entrepreneurs Association, Madame Chairwoman emphasized the importance of Resolution 41-NQ/TW dated October 10, 2023 affirming the position of entrepreneurs, stating the viewpoint of not criminalizing economic relations. Madame Chairwoman expressed her gratitude to the Government for its efforts to remove obstacles for real estate businesses and the bond market, supporting hundreds of thousands of businesses and workers who have fallen into difficult circumstances in recent times.

Through the BRGMart and FujiMart supermarket systems, BRG Group is actively supporting the consumption of more goods for Vietnamese farmers, creating jobs for farmers. In addition to high-end products, BRG Group also grows 8,000 hectares of cassava and produces cassava starch, biofertilizers, and produces and exports agricultural products to many countries, achieving an estimated export turnover of about 50 million USD.

Regarding social security, BRG Group has also supported the construction of 1,200 houses for disadvantaged households in the border areas, of which 1,000 houses were awarded to households in 2023 alone.

In particular, SeABank, with capital funding of up to nearly 600 million USD from international financial corporations such as IFC, DFC and many international investment funds, has been successfully implementing efforts to increase access to finance for small and medium enterprises, especially women-owned enterprises. SeABank has fully disbursed the funding, making efforts to have more preferential capital sources, responding to the call for drastic interest rate reductions from the Government and the State Bank. Many preferential products for unsecured loans via credit cards up to 200 million VND have been deployed, of which 600 customers with a total value of 2,000 billion VND have been developed in 2023. Recently, the SeAPower club for entrepreneurs and women-owned enterprises has also been launched with 1,300 members receiving flexible 0% interest loans.

On this occasion, Madame Chairwoman affirmed that BRG Group will continue to accompany the Government, make every effort, strive to develop and achieve many new achievements.

The meeting took place at the Government Office and connected online to the headquarters of the People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities. Attending the meeting at the Hanoi end were Deputy Prime Ministers, representatives of the Ministries of Planning and Investment, Industry and Trade, Finance, Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, the State Bank of Vietnam, the Government Office, the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises; leaders of the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc; leaders of the Vietnam Confederation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI); typical entrepreneurs representing the business community and business associations. Attending the meeting at the provincial and municipal ends were leaders of the People's Committees of provinces and cities, representatives of relevant departments and branches, and 30 typical enterprises representing local enterprises and business associations.
