Comprehensive experience, reasonable tuition
Known as a pioneering university that creates an advanced learning environment and outstanding educational quality, maintaining tuition fees that are suitable for comprehensive experiences for learners, Van Lang University commits to and carries out its training mission according to the educational philosophy: Training comprehensive learners, with ethics, the ability to learn for life and have a positive impact, inspiring the community. This is the main reason why this is one of the universities that currently receives the most affection from parents and candidates nationwide.
Recently, at the Welcome Day event with the theme of University Journey to Create the Future, Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thi My Dieu, President of Van Lang University, emphasized: “We are committed to bringing each student a comprehensive experience journey, helping them discover and achieve the values they expect. Students will benefit from the values that the school has invested in from modern facilities along with advanced curriculum and diverse experiences”.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Que, parent of Tran Dinh An Nguyen, a candidate who was admitted early and received a talent scholarship to study Business Administration, shared: “At first, when my child was admitted to Van Lang, my family was worried that the tuition fee might exceed our financial capacity. However, when I saw with my own eyes the facilities that the school invested in and the values that my child received, it exceeded my family's expectations, along with the scholarship from the school as a part of the support and motivation that helped me believe and decide to choose Van Lang as the place for my child to continue studying and developing.”
Similarly, Ms. Bui Ngoc Thanh An, parent of student Vu Tien Bao Kha, majoring in English, shared: “At first, my family heard positive reviews from relatives who are former students of the school. My family was impressed with Van Lang and was even happier when we received the news that Kha received a scholarship. However, I still had some concerns about the tuition fees during the 4 years of study, especially after the Covid pandemic when my family's financial situation was not stable. But when thinking about investing in an international standard learning environment for my child, my family decided to go from Vinh Long to Van Lang to visit and experience.
The experience of going to school made the family completely surprised with the modern facilities: 100% of the classrooms are equipped with air conditioning, the practice rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, and many projects are under construction, promising to improve the learning experience of students. After witnessing these things, the family decided to let Kha study at Van Lang with the belief that the international standard training value that the school brings will be worthy of the investment my family has made."
Even though there are still many things to worry about after Covid, parents like Ms. Nguyen Thuy Trinh - mother of Nguyen Phuoc Thinh who was admitted early to the Graphic Design major - still want their children to study abroad to receive a high-quality education.
Ms. Trinh shared: “Before that, in addition to studying abroad, we decided to survey several domestic universities to consider sending our children to study. When I learned that Van Lang was developing its teaching staff and continuously improving its training program, comparing it with the programs of the top 200-300 universities in the world, and the school was listed in world rankings, I considered learning about the “on-site study abroad” programs at Van Lang.”
Impressed with the investment in facilities: classrooms, sports areas, technology-applied learning buildings, including many international standard classroom models, labs serving media students and students in the field of design for in-depth practice, luxurious F&B space, etc. Ms. Trinh emphasized that Van Lang is the environment that she wants her children to enjoy when deciding to study in Vietnam.
Practice skills and global integration mindset
Having known about Van Lang for a long time and impressed with its modern facilities and friendly learning environment, Ms. Ngo Hoang Oanh - a parent from Da Lat City arranged her work to bring her child directly to the School to learn about the special training program.
After visiting and experiencing, Ms. Oanh was impressed by the training program designed with 50 - 70% of teaching time in English, the program emphasizes the ability to integrate internationally, the spirit of community responsibility, providing learners with skills and thinking to explore and position themselves to adapt to the new standards of the global integration context, contributing positive values to society.
Ms. Oanh said that the family will consider the tuition fee for Dong Hai to study at Van Lang. In the future, if the economic situation recovers as before, Hai's two younger siblings may also study at VLU.
In 2024, welcoming the 30th student class, Van Lang University will implement a tuition and scholarship incentive policy with a total value of more than 60 billion VND. The special incentive policy is an entrance scholarship for new students with a reduction of 20-30% of the first semester tuition fee if they are admitted early in the school's admission rounds and use the early admission results to register their first choice on the Ministry of Education and Training's admission system. At the same time, the School announced a talent scholarship package worth nearly 16 billion VND for this course, including 30 scholarships of 100 million VND each, 100 scholarships of 50 million VND each and 300 scholarships of 25 million VND each, for individuals with excellent qualities or outstanding achievements in the fields of academics, sports, arts, startups, scientific research and community activities.
