The recent financial report of Yeah1 Group Corporation (stock code: YEG) revealed the salary of the company's board of directors in 2024.

For Ms. Ngo Thi Van Hanh, General Director, that figure is 2.55 billion VND/year, an increase of 300 million VND compared to the previous year. Mr. Che Doan Vien, Deputy General Director, is 1.4 billion VND/year, an increase of about 338 million VND. In addition, Mr. Pham Minh Tien, who was appointed as Deputy General Director in May 2024, also has a salary of up to 750.5 million VND/year.

The report also said that Mr. Dao Phuc Tri, former CEO of Yeah1, had a salary of 2.54 billion VND in 2023. Mr. Tri was one of the founding shareholders of the company and held the position of CEO for 12 years before resigning in September 2023.

Yeah1 is the company that holds the copyright and produces two TV shows, "Anh trai vu ngan cong gai" and "Chi dep dap gio". These two shows have contributed greatly to the success of the company. However, in 2025, the company suddenly announced that it would stop producing both shows.

According to Ms. Ngo Thi Van Hanh, CEO of Yeah1, this decision will help the business to better prepare for the next seasons, instead of trying to bring about unsatisfactory results. Besides, she believes that the audience also needs a break, after watching programs with similar content for the past 2 years and possibly in the future.

However, Yeah1 has also prepared two "trump cards" in 2025. That is the program "Haha Family", which records the moments when artists experience local landscapes and culture. Next is the program "Show it all", the content revolves around finding and training young artists.

Ms. Hanh added that the board of directors of Yeah1 initially did not want to produce “Beautiful Sister Riding the Wind and Breaking the Waves 2023” (season 1) - the program that opened the door for the company’s future successes. Because to create a high-quality program would require a huge investment. However, with her experience and intuition in the profession, she convinced the board of directors to put their trust in the program.

In 2024, Yeah1's net revenue reached VND1,007 billion, 2.4 times higher than in 2023, marking the highest level in the past 3 years. Of which, advertising and media consulting activities are still the company's main source of revenue, bringing in VND845 billion. Following are content copyright revenue (VND96 billion) and service and e-commerce revenue (VND65 billion).

With after-tax profit, the company recorded a profit of up to 126.7 billion VND, an increase of more than 4 times compared to the previous year. This is a completely different face of Yeah1, when 4-5 years ago, the company faced net losses of up to hundreds of billions of VND.
