Attending the congress were comrades: Ta Duc Tuyen, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Tuyen Quang City Party Committee; Dang Van Long, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command; Van Dinh Thao, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Department of Planning and Investment; Le Thi Thanh Tra, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Hoang Viet Phuong, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of departments, branches and sectors of the province.

Over the past 5 years, the emulation and reward work and the TĐQT movement have been thoroughly grasped and seriously implemented by local Party committees, authorities, political commissars, commanders, and political agencies at all levels in the provincial military, creating strong and comprehensive changes in all aspects. Many new models, breakthroughs, and creative solutions have been deployed. Thereby contributing to improving the quality of training, drills, and combat capabilities; building a regular system, managing and training discipline, and ensuring good logistics, finance, weapons, and technical equipment for missions.

The Provincial Military Command has advised on organizing 2 defense zone drills; directed 6 districts and cities to organize district-level defense zone drills and 130 commune-level drills. Over 17,700 cadres at all levels have been trained in national defense and security knowledge. Organized the handover of 5,958 citizens to units to ensure absolute safety in all aspects.

The TĐQT movement has been closely combined with patriotic emulation movements and campaigns, creating a strong spreading effect. The provincial armed forces have participated in over 81 thousand working days, repaired 358 km of inter-village roads, helped 363 policy families, 255 poor households to plant timber trees and crops, organized visits and gave gifts to policy families on holidays and Tet with a total amount of over 2.4 billion VND...

In the period of 2024 - 2029, implementing the TĐQT movement, the provincial armed forces will continue to focus on the goal of improving the quality and effectiveness of staff work with Party committees and authorities to lead and direct the successful completion of local defense and military tasks; building an all-people national defense, an all-people national defense posture associated with an increasingly strong people's security posture, and increasingly solid provincial and district defense areas.

The provincial armed forces strive to complete 100% of mobilization and recruitment targets, complete 100% of plans to organize drills at all levels; strictly maintain combat readiness, maintain political security, social order and safety in the area; compete to well implement breakthroughs, key emulation activities, continue to promote revolutionary qualities, the tradition of "Loyalty - Solidarity - Bravery - Victory", strive to excellently complete assigned tasks, contributing to building Tuyen Quang province increasingly prosperous.

Speaking at the congress, Major General Nguyen Hong Thai, Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 2, congratulated the achievements of the provincial armed forces in the past 5 years. He suggested that in the coming time, the provincial armed forces need to strengthen the leadership and direction of Party committees at all levels and commanders in emulation and reward work and the TĐQT movement.

The emulation movement must thoroughly and fully grasp the requirements of protecting the Fatherland in the new situation; closely combine socio-economic development with ensuring national defense and security, building increasingly solid defense zones, national defense posture, and people's hearts and minds posture.

The TĐQT movement needs to focus on emulation to build a strong provincial military force, ensuring good logistics and techniques, ready to respond and meet mission requirements in all situations; truly be the core force in performing local defense tasks, a reliable and solid support for the people and local Party committees and authorities...

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 20 collectives and 25 individuals with outstanding achievements in the international solidarity movement of the armed forces of Tuyen Quang province in the period 2019-2024.
