The event took place on the final day (July 9th) of “ VinFast – For a Green Future” in Hanoi – the largest electric vehicle exhibition in Vietnam's history.
"Traveling across Vietnam in a VinFast electric vehicle is very reassuring because charging stations are everywhere."
Mr. Nguyen Manh Thang (CEO of Whatcar) and Mr. Le Tung Anh (Director of the Trang Auto YouTube channel) have both completed two cross-Vietnam trips using electric vehicles. The first was with a VF e34, completing the journey from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City in 48 hours. The second was with a VF 8, shortening the trip to 28 hours because "VinFast charging stations are now everywhere."

Sharing his experience of long journeys during a talk show that attracted a large number of visitors to the "VinFast - For a Green Future" exhibition, Mr. Manh Thang said that in the early days of using electric vehicles, he was still a bit nervous. He had to charge the vehicle at home beforehand and plan meticulously to avoid wasting time on long trips. "But now, traveling across Vietnam is much more reassuring because there are many VinFast charging stations, more options, and charging is very fast. With other brands of electric vehicles, it would be difficult due to a lack of charging stations," Mr. Thang shared.
In addition, the actual operating costs are very low. For a total distance of 1,800km across Vietnam, based on actual records, the owner only needed to pay 1.2 million VND for electricity, while a gasoline car would cost up to 5 million VND in gasoline. Summarizing their experiences using electric vehicles, owners of the VF e34 and VF 8 electric car models commented: "Riding an electric car is much more enjoyable and relaxing than driving a gasoline car."
VinFast owners and experts enthusiastically share their experiences using electric cars.
For Ms. Bao Thoa, the owner of the VF 8, her job requires her to travel frequently, covering 500-700km daily. However, she finds this journey relatively trouble-free thanks to the readily available charging station list on the VinFast app, allowing her to charge at local homes even in remote areas. Regarding performance, she notes that when traveling extensively through mountainous terrain in Northwest Vietnam or along the central border, the VF 8 demonstrates superior stability when cornering or climbing hills.
Meanwhile, according to Ms. Phuong Thao, one of the first female owners to drive the VF 9 across Vietnam, "if you want to 'feel' it, choose an electric vehicle." With the VinFast electric vehicle, she feels comfortable and friendly, like a companion, thanks to its smart features, especially the VinFast Virtual Assistant.
The guests also shared their impressions of the ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) on VinFast electric vehicles. This system makes driving extremely easy for users in many situations.
“VinFast electric vehicles boast powerful performance, smart features, ADAS, and advanced equipment. Importantly, you can own all these premium features in just one vehicle at an affordable price,” Tùng Anh summarized the strengths of VinFast electric vehicles.
Buy a VinFast electric car to live green and healthy.
There are many reasons driving the trend towards electric vehicles, but most VinFast electric vehicle buyers share a common motivation: choosing an environmentally friendly mode of transportation. As someone working in the tourism industry and promoting sustainable livelihoods for ethnic minorities, and aiming for a green and sustainable lifestyle, Ms. Bao Thoa shared, "I bought an electric car to 'live green, live healthy'."
Mr. Manh Thang's family has also had many different experiences and emotions since switching to electric vehicles. Life is less noisy, and more importantly, the thoughts and lifestyles of the family members have gradually changed. "My daughter is now starting to change her ways after my family started using electric vehicles; she no longer uses plastic bags when going to the market. If you use electric vehicles, it's also an action that helps future generations make better changes and live more sustainably," Mr. Thang said.
Tung Anh believes this is the ideal time to buy an electric car.
“For those who want to ‘live green,’ this is the ideal time to buy an electric vehicle,” Mr. Tung Anh affirmed. Currently, electric vehicles enjoy many tax incentives from the Government. In addition, VinFast also applies many incentives to facilitate early access to green vehicles for consumers. Especially, during use, users can rest assured because the manufacturer always listens to feedback and comments and has after-sales policies and services that provide an increasingly better experience.
The candid and honest sharing of experiences from the guests in the talk show "Receiving a Car or Giving Feedback" provided valuable insights for the large audience attending the "VinFast - For a Green Future" exhibition. The three-day exhibition in Hanoi attracted tens of thousands of attendees, demonstrating the unprecedented appeal of this large-scale electric vehicle exhibition and the public's interest in green vehicles and the green living trend.
VinFast's product range attracted a large number of visitors at the exhibition.
Most visitors to the exhibition were overwhelmed by VinFast's complete "collection" of electric vehicles and the first-time appearance of new products such as the VF 3, VF 6, VF 7, and VinFast electric bicycles. In addition, the VF e34, VF 5 plus, VF8, VF 9 models and electric motorcycles also received much attention. Many people appreciated that, for the first time, a Vietnamese car manufacturer had the scale and incredible speed to complete its electric vehicle product line in just a few years – something that not many car manufacturers in the world have the resources and determination to achieve.
Leaving Hanoi, the "VinFast - For a Green Future" exhibition series will reach people in 10 other provinces and cities across the country from now until September 2023.
