Naval Brigade 167 responds to Vietnam Law Day

NDO - In response to Vietnam Law Day (November 9), Brigade 167, Naval Region 2 organized many exciting and diverse activities to disseminate and educate the law, contributing to a strong change in the awareness and actions of officers, soldiers, union members, and youth of the entire unit in complying with the law, military discipline, and regulations of the unit.

In recent days, the Party Committee and the command of Brigade 167 have organized many exciting, practical and diverse activities in forms such as: Propagating and disseminating legal documents; strengthening legal bookcases at agencies and units; organizing legal knowledge competitions; In which, focusing on propagating, disseminating and educating new laws and legal documents; Military regulations and statutes; directives, instructions and regulations of the Ministry of National Defense, Military Services, Regions and Brigades on building regular units, law enforcement and discipline...

Units in the entire Brigade have repaired and renewed billboards and slogans about the law with the motto "easy to remember, easy to understand" placed in easy-to-observe locations; Organized for officers and soldiers to watch movies, video clips... to propagate the law about signs and fraudulent behaviors in cyberspace, new points of legal regulations on road traffic; handled cases of soldiers violating the law such as desertion, evasion of military service, and spreading false information on social networks;

Youth discussion on culture on social networks.

Research and study legal situations and ideological situations using video clips for officers and soldiers to discuss, present their views, methods of handling and preventing violations... Develop 2 topics "Strengthening the building of regular order, law enforcement, discipline, troop management, ensuring safety"; "Identifying fake news, untrue news on the internet, social networks and preventive measures in current units" widely distributed throughout the unit to educate, propagate and raise awareness for officers and soldiers.

To promote democracy associated with strengthening discipline in the unit, Brigade 167 organized a political and ideological conference on strengthening the building of regularity, law enforcement, discipline, troop management, and ensuring safety according to decentralization; Assigning Brigade Party Committee members to participate in activities and grasp the ideological situation in each unit. At the Brigade-level conference, officers and soldiers were able to present their views, thoughts, and recommendations for leaders and commanders to answer, discuss, and exchange, thereby unifying and taking action throughout the Brigade.

Colonel Nguyen Thanh Nhan, Political Commissar of Brigade 167, said: “The unit always focuses on innovation, flexibly and creatively applying forms and methods of legal propaganda and education; in 2024, the Brigade organized 2 seminars and 5 Law Day dramatization programs;

Brigade 167 regularly organizes and sends officers and soldiers to participate in competitions to learn about the law. Officers and soldiers have won many high awards, especially the work "Application of digital platform for online legal test" which won the C prize in the video clip creation contest "Youth of the Army takes the initiative to carry out the dissemination and education of law".

The Brigade Commander guides young soldiers in taking a legal awareness test.

With creative and flexible approaches, the Brigade's compliance with the law and discipline has recently had positive changes, the overall quality and combat strength of the Brigade have been constantly improved, contributing to building a strong and comprehensive Brigade "Exemplary, typical", ready to receive and excellently complete all assigned tasks.
